Youth Leaders Present to MC Mental Health Commission: Rescheduled!

GHGH Youth leaders want county mental health leaders to prioritize social and emotional health services for youth throughout the county. On October 29th, 2105 GHGH leaders will make a presentation to the Monterey County Mental Health Commission, highlighting action research data representing over 1200 youth in the county. Girl leaders will also present a signed petition of over 550 signatures from 16 schools and a hand-stamped banner to
illustrate the broad backing from youth and educators throughout the county.
The presentation takes place on Thursday, Dec.3rd, 2015 at 5:30pm at the Monterey County Health Department at 1270 Natividad Road in Salinas in the Whitney 129 Conference Room (lower level). Community members, parents and organizations interested in making social and emotional health a countywide priority for youth are encouraged to attend.
