What is Jack and Jill of America Inc?

Jack and Jill of America Inc.  “is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing future African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty.”  Jack and Jill has 230 chapters, representing over 40,000 members nationwide.

What resources does GHGH recommend?

The Teen Leadership and Development Guide written by Jack and Jill of America Inc. includes 15 modules on vision, listening, trust and respect, confidence, self-discipline, integrity and ethics, service and sacrifice, legislative, problem solving and conflict resolution, utilizing strengths, responsibility, character, public speaking, goal setting, and risk taking.  

The guide is very interactive and includes role-playing, skits, discussions, and videos. Check it out!
