Youth on Board Participants know their voices matter.

What is Youth on Board?

Since 1994, Youth on Board (YOB) has been a leader in youth organizing in Boston, MA.  YOB supports the power of students to transform their communities by recognizing that when young people are fully engaged and when their unique perspective is respected—they can commit themselves to making their schools, their communities, and their own lives better.

What is an example of a Youth on Board Project?

What Resources does YOB have available for teens and practitioners?

YOB has a number of publications on ‘how to successfully involve young people’, ‘understanding and supporting young people’, ‘tips for young people,’ and ‘listening to young people.’  The ‘youth guide to youth board involvement and the law’ can be downloaded for free.  All other YOB publications can be purchased on their website.
